DES MOINES, IOWA – June 23, 2021 – Legacy Materials, a woman-owned sand and aggregation company based in Booneville, Iowa, is proud to announce its recent certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. This certification is given to businesses that are at least 51% owned, controlled, operated and managed by a woman or women.

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) helps to level the playing field for women business owners by becoming eligible for federal benefits. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, WBENC’s mission is to fuel economic growth globally by identifying, certifying and facilitating the development of women-owned businesses.
